It is our intent and desire to use a variety of worship experiences, styles and methods to help each person be drawn into a deeper personal commitment to Jesus Christ in their daily life. There is no right way to worship. We currently use three basic styles of worship described below with many variations throughout the year.

Sunday Worship
Traditional
This service is for those seeking a formal worship environment. Robes are often worn, music is very traditional, and the message is delivered in a format that will reach you and make you want to be there!

Blended
Service is more casual, but suits are the usual attire. Many worshipers attend while their children are in Sunday School. This format is great for those not ready for a casual church, but not willing to attend a very formal service. Come see if this is the right one for you and your family!

Contemporary
Many of our members are looking for a modern, music oriented faith-based message. This format gives you a great band, new music, movie clips, and great use of computer technologies! If you are young at heart or young in spirit - come check us out!

Music makes a glorious addition to our worship services. Uplifting, prayerful, joyous, sentimental, fast-paced, consoling, healing, leading; all these and more describe music's contribution to our faith.

ADULT GROUPS
Chancel Choir—the foundation choir at WDM UMC. This choir sings at 8:00 & 9:30 a.m. worship services.

Undivided Choir—upbeat rhythms, this group sings at various worship services.

Men’s Chorus—formed by men of the church, sings monthly at various services and in the community throughout the entire year

Bell Messengers—the oldest bell group in tradition, performs monthly.

Wesley Ringers—plays all types of music and performs monthly.

YOUTH AND CHILDREN GROUPS
Resurrection—for youth in Grades 7-12.



Jubilation—bell players from Grades 7-12. This group performs monthly.

Cantus Choir—for youth in Grades 4-7, this choir sings monthly at various services.

Chorister Choir—Grades 1-3, this choir sings monthly at various services.

Cherub Choir—for 3-year-olds through kindergarten. This group sings at worship services several times a year.

Christ Chimers—this bell group for Grades 1-6 plays tone chimes. They perform in worship services several times per year.
