The congregation of Christ the King gathers weekly around Word and Sacrament. With Christians around the world we come together on the first day of the week, the first day of creation when God brought light into darkness and the day on which Christ rose from the dead.
Because of steady growth since its beginning, Christ the King has needed to expand its facilities twice, most recently in 1999, when the worship space and narthex were increased and offices, choir room, youth room, and seven classrooms were added. The worship space seats 350 or so in a contemporary setting that is nearly square in shape.

Worship at Christ the King is very much in the Lutheran liturgical tradition. Various musical gifts are shared during Sunday liturgies by those in the adult choir, handbell choir, and various instrumentalists and vocalists. Musical styles are varied. The sanctuary liturgy is printed in a booklet each week and varies from season to season as well as for festivals. These liturgies incorporate portions of the liturgies found in Evangelical Lutheran Worship, as well as material from other sources. Weekly worship in the chapel uses fewer printed materials and projects more worship songs and prayers onto a screen. A CD of music from Christ the King may be obtained by contacting our church office and requesting one.
Christ the King Lutheran Church's organ is a three-manual Allen MDS-51S digital instrument, installed when the sanctuary was expanded in 1999.

Music is a vital part of the ministry of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Our music program includes an adult choir and a handbell choir who play or sing for worship on a regular basis. Smaller groups or ensembles are formed from time to time as well. We have many fine instrumentalists who are part of our worship on a regular basis, and our music includes a wide variety of musical styles. The people of Christ the King love to sing...come and sing with us!
