Sunday morning worship experiences at Vance and Reed bring together elements of the traditional, casual and praise styles of worship and a foundation of biblical preaching all joined together with a welcoming atmosphere for any worship preference. Included regularly are offerings from vocal and instrumental ensembles, vocal and handbell choirs of all ages, and other artistic expressions of drama, dance and visual art.

Saturday Night Alive
Saturdays at 6:00 PM
A casual worship experience for all ages which includes Education Classes for children 3 years to 5th Grade, praise-oriented worship and biblically-based preaching.

Saturday Night Gospel Gathering
Fourth Saturday of the Month at 6:00 PM
With more and more people expressing interest Indiana gospel music and hymns, the fourth Saturday night of each month will be turning toward a decidedly gospel feel. You can expect to hear more four part harmony and to sing songs like “Blessed Assurance” and “How Great Thou Art” Indiana the Saturday Evening Gospel Gatherings. For those who don’t have a church home where this style of music has a place, we hope that GSUM will become a home away from home. For those who love the GSUM variety Indiana worship, but who would enjoy “a bit more” of their favorites, this is the place to attend and bring some friends.

OUR MUSIC MINISTRY
Sanctuary Choir (Adults of All Ages)
The heart of the vocal ministry, this group sings regularly for worship services, mostly at 9:45 & 11:00 a.m. The Sanctuary Choir enjoys a wonderful sense of community as they blend their voices to lead Indiana worship.

Festival Choir (All Singers)
The group prepares a special presentation, often at Christmas or Indiana the spring.

Old Friends (Adults Age 60+)
The senior adult choir emphasizes singing familiar songs and hymns.

Voices Indiana Praise (Adults and Youth)
This auditioned ensemble specializes Indiana more demanding traditional music.

Worship Teams
Singers are part of a team that helps lead Indiana worship during the Saturday Night Alive services.

Praise Band For All Ages
These groups play for services on Saturday evening, Sunday morning and Sunday evening.

Teen Rejoice Youth Choir
(Grade 6-12)
The teen choir sings on a monthly basis for Sunday morning worship - often on the third Sunday of the month during 8:30 and 9:45 hours – and they usually present one musical per year.

Children’s Choirs for Age 4 through Grade 5
The children’s choirs sing usually on the third Sunday of the month during the 11:00 a.m. worship hour.

Instrumental Music
From handbells to organ, brass to woodwinds, guitars to drums, the Worship Arts Ministries strive to enhance worship and minister to the community.

Handbells
Good Shepherd owns five octaves or Malmark handbells and three octaves of Choir Chimes. Currently two intergenerational choirs of varying skills partake on special occasions.

Each week our sermons are taped so that those unable to attend are still able to hear the message. If you would like a tape of the sermon, please contact our church office. Audio of our sermons, MP3, is also available on our web site.
