Our Mission Statement
Union Congregational Church exists:
To personally know the living Christ of the Bible and by the power of the Holy Spirit to extend and enjoy His Kingdom — in our homes, in our community and in the world — to the glory of God alone.
Union Congregational’s church life embraces four main emphases. We’re a worshiping church, a teaching church, a sharing church and a caring church.
The most important ministry of any congregation is its service to the Lord in worship and praise. Worship is our joyful response to the new life God has given us through his Son Jesus Christ. At Union Congregational we believe worship should be both dignified and Spirit-filled, in keeping with the majesty of the living God himself. While you might call our worship style more “traditional” than “contemporary,” it’s always warmed by the sense of God’s presence in the midst of his people.
