Our first concern is that everyone experience salvation and the saving powers in Jesus Christ. People will make many decisions in their lives, but there is No decision more important that inviting the the Lord and Savior into ones heart. At calvary we desire to be a fellowship of hope in which Christ will radiate into every home.
We work very hard in developing opportunities which will help followers of Jesus Christ grow in their spiritual lives.
The Music Ministry here at Calvary, where we strive to provide an opportunity for people to come and lift up the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray that we never forget Isaiah 53:5, and that this truth is reflected in every aspect of the worship here at Calvary Baptist Church. We believe that worship is not just something we do when we come together on Sunday. We believe that worship is a lifestyle that happens daily in your personal walk with Jesus Christ. Our belief is that Sunday worship should be an overflow of your daily relationship with Jesus. We know that our music ministry members are a vital part of leading our congregation in worship every Sunday.
Celebration Choir is the Music Ministry for adults 18 years of age or older. They help lead in worship every Sunday morning and evening, as well as being involved in special events throughout the year.
Celebration Orchestra is our instrumental Ministry that is open to any instrumentalist that has played for 3 years or more. The orchestra accompanies our Music Ministry every Sunday.
Student Choir is a choir that is created for students in the 6th – 12th grades. They sing monthly as well as be involved in choir tours and missionary work.
Music Time is our choir for ages 3 through Pre-K.
Music Makers is our choir for kindergarten through second grade.
Young Musicians is our choir for third through fifth grade.Each of the children groups performing regularly in our Sunday evening services.
