Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jim Bullard gave his heart to the Lord about 35 years ago. His home was filled with music from the radio so he started singing at a young age for his own enjoyment. Prior to giving his heart to the Lord, he sang in bars.
The Lord met him in the bar one night and said, "I gave you that voice and I can take it away." From that moment on, the Lord called him to sing for Him.
As the Lord directs, his greatest desire is to sing for the Lord and allow the Lord to bless people through the music.
Jim's rich baritone voice is ideal for singing the Southern Gospel style of music and is known for continually updating his repertoire to provide new music for the Lord to use to bless people.
The Christian Cowboy Balladeers awarded Jim the "Award of Excellence"; 2004 the "Musician of the Year"; and in 2005, the "Hall of Fame" award.
In October, 2006, Jim attended the International Convention for the Country Gospel Music Association in Branson, Mo. He came in second in his division which is quite an honor.
