The choirs of St. John’s Church lead the praises and prayers of the congregation in the principal services of this parish. All choirs are trained to sing the finest sacred music from the Classical tradition. Much of the music is drawn from the Anglican tradition with some selections coming from the Lutheran and Latin Catholic traditions.

The Parish Choir is a mixed-voice ensemble of teens and adults that sings in all Sunday morning services, the monthly Choral Evensong service, and holy day services usually in conjunction with the Boys Choir.

The Men & Boys Choir is the ensemble for 3rd -- 8th grade boys.

The Girls Choir is an ensemble for 4th -- 8th grade girls that shares in choral worship leadership with boys and adults.

Junior Choir is the training choir for 1st – 4th grade children. This ensemble sings on occasion at children’s assembly and in the annual Christmas Pageant.

In addition to singing for services, all choirs, from the youngest to the oldest have the opportunity to sing with a professional orchestra annually. All choirs are under the direction of the Organist-Choirmaster.
