The worship of God inspires and gives direction to all the other ministries of our church. Our worship services are traditional in style, stressing the great hymns of the church.

Music is a vital part of our worship. Our outstanding Sanctuary Choir, accompanied by the magnificent Wicks pipe organ and Steinway grand piano, lead the music during our worship services. There is an instrumental program that enhances our worship as well as an Adult Handbell Choir. Once a month our Young Musicians Choir sings in worship along with the Sanctuary Choir. Our Sanctuary Choir performs several concerts a year including an Requiem performance during Holy Week and the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah with the Carroll Symphony Orchestra.

The Sanctuary Choir has released four albums, O Be Joyful and Hanging of the Green, O For A Thousand Tongues, Evensong, and most recently To Everything There Is A Season, each available at the church or at amazon.com. The Sanctuary Choir is frequently invited to perform at other churches, civic events, and conferences. The choir’s repertoire includes masterworks such as Handel’s Messiah, Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy Liszt’s Via Crucis, Faure’s Requiem, and Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem. The Sanctuary Choir has a growing national reputations having performed three times at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, in addition to performances at well-known churches such as Calvary Baptist Church (Washington, DC) The Riverside Church (New York City), the Cathedral of St. John the Divine (NYC), and St. Paul’s Chapel at Ground Zero (NYC).
