The Mar Thoma church is a mixture of the Eastern church and the Protestant Church of the West due to its Ecumenical outlook, autonomy and zeal for mission work. It is also a member of the World Council of churches and the National Council of churches in the USA.

Our goal and function: to nurture the spiritual life of its members.

St Mark's Mar Thoma Church choir was formally constituted on Saturday March 11, 2005 during the first meeting of the members. The membership of the Choir comprises of 52 members.
