Over twenty years ago, then-Archbishop Edward McCarthy called for formation of a new Catholic-Christian family in Pembroke Pines. That Family has become St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish. We have grown into a rich and diverse community which does its best to live the example of our patron. Father Maximilian Kolbe is honored because his faith gave him the dignity to live and die knowing that, despite whatever horrendous condition he experienced, God is always with us. Though large and diverse, guided by the love of the Holy Spirit, we work every day to minister to every soul who finds their way to St. Max.
