We, the members of First Presbyterian Church, by the grace of God, exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ by —

LEADING people to Jesus Christ,

LOVING our neighbor through ministries of service and compassion.

We believe that the church is called together to remember, forgive, love and serve. The church is a community based on covenant with God and with each other.

Our Music Ministry seeks to enhance our services of worship each week through the joy of our voices, instruments, hearts, souls, and minds as we seek to praise God and proclaim His salvation in our lives; provide a high caliber of musical education and training through planned rehearsals to all those involved; and offer edification and enjoyment of music through our Special Events Series of concerts for our church family and the community at large.

God gives a voice to sound His joy and calls it MUSIC. From the massive sounds of the Cathedral Choir, brass, and organ to the vibrant and energetic rhythm of the Kirk Singers, our whole music ministry is devoted to serving our risen Lord with resounding JOY!

Our Chapel Singers regularly sing in worship and prepare a tour performance each spring.

Each year our choirs partake in a concert series that is free of charge and open to the public.

We have two worship services on Sunday morning and they are identical except for the music and the choir. Usually, our High School choir, the Kirk Singers, sing for the 8:30 AM service, and the adult choir, the Cathedral Choir, sings for the 11:00 AM service.
