The First United Methodist Church - Greenwich, CT
Located on the famous Boston Post Road, the First United Methodist Church of Greenwich dates as a society to 1843. The present sanctuary, built about a quarter of a century later, is an outstanding example of New England Carpenter Gothic and is listed with the National Register of Historic Places.
Each Sunday the congregation gathers to worship God and to enrich and satisfy their own spiritual life. Join us in the sanctuary at 10:30 AM. After worship, fellowship and coffee may be enjoyed in Wesley Hall, adjacent to the church.
Music in worship is taking responsibility for the spiritual, musical, and moral development of ourselves and our children. At the center of a music program is a vital connection between music and the life of faith of a congregation. Worship, music, and faith are inextricably
linked - music expresses faith and also forms faith. Our adult Wesley Choir sings regularly in our Sunday mornings services and our children's Cherub Choir sings during a number of our worship services.
