We invite you to visit us at the First Congregational Church of Boulder. We know everyone is on a different path and at a different point in his or her spiritual journey. Come with your questions and certainties, your struggles and joys. Come by yourself or with family and friends.

Everyone is welcome here: believers and agnostics, conventional Christians and questioning skeptics, people of all sexual orientations, the despairing and the hopeful, those of all races and cultures, and those of all classes and abilities. Jesus didn’t turn anyone away—neither do we.

On the outside, our church may look traditional, but on the inside you'll find a lively, progressive group of people. We are a liberal Christian church; we believe the grace and love of God extends to all people, not just those who hold one particular set of beliefs. Our faith is 2000 years old. Our thinking is not.

Our main service is held in our newly renovated sanctuary and has a variety of music and choirs.

In 2004 we performed the Colorado premier of Andrew Carter’s Magnificat for adult choir, children’s voices, handbells, organ, and chamber orchestra. Other major works performed in recent years include ... Vivaldi Gloria, the Bach Magnificat, the Rutter Gloria and Requiem, the Pinkham Christmas Cantata, the Fauré Requiem, and the Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs.

Our Congregational Bells ring a 5-octave set of Malmark bells, 4 octaves of tonechimes, and have an additional 3-octave duplicate set of bells.
