But unless music sounds, it is not music, and whenever it sounds, it is accessible to others. By its very nature song has both an individual and a communal dimension. Thus, it is no wonder that singing together in church expresses so well the sacramental presence of God to his people."
Maranatha gives a joyful start to the weekend Masses by providing a variety of songs for the 5:00 PM Saturday Mass. The group praises God in song 3 out of 6 weeks year-round.
Witness testifies to the saving power of Jesus Christ by their commitment to ministering to the community through music. Witness leads the music at the 5:00 PM Saturday Mass 3 out of 6 weeks year-round.
The 7:00 AM Mass Music Ministry singers leads the congregation in song every week at the 7:00 AM Mass.
New Covenant serves the 8:30 AM Mass community 3 out of 6 weeks year-round. Their jubilant music inspires the congregation to a deeper appreciation of and participation in the liturgy.
Psalm 100 is a group of musicians who display their commitment to musical excellence as well as their devotion to the Lord through a variety of musical selections. Psalm 100 provides music 3 out of 6 weeks at the 8:30 AM Mass year-round.
The Spirit of Christ Choir is a large family of talented and spirit-filled singers and instrumentalists. From September to June, the choir provides music for the 10:30 AM Mass, taking one Sunday off per month.
Spirit of Christ Orchestra, string, brass, and woodwind instrumentalists, generously give of their time and talent by playing in the SOC orchestra. This group accompanies the SOC Choir (10:30 AM Mass, September through June, one Sunday off per month).
Spirit of Christ Children's Choir, children between the ages of 6 and 16, learn about their faith through song and share their love of God with the community at the 10:30 AM Mass one Sunday per month during the school year.
Revelation members share their love of Christ and enthusiasm for music with the 12:15 PM Mass community (3 out of 6 weeks year-round).
The Life Teen Music Ministry leads the music every Sunday at the 5:00 PM Mass. The purpose of the ministry is to provide an energetic worship experience for the teens of the parish.
Spirit Song, a welcoming and reverent environment for prayer and worship is provided by the members of the Spirit Song ensemble. This group serves the 12:15 PM Mass community 3 out of 6 weeks year-round.
