Built in 1888 in the midst of a field of wildflowers, this historic church is now an urban parish. Messiah is a household of God surrounded by a rainbow of color and variety. Messiah is part of the Anglican Communion, the Episcopal Church, and is a parish in the Diocese of Los Angeles.

Holy Eucharist with Sermon (Rite I)
This service uses "Rite I" -- with traditional language. Organ anthems are played, but there is no singing at this service. Professional child care is provided.

10:15 am
Holy Eucharist with Choir, Sermon (Rite II)
This service uses "Rite II" -- with contemporary language. The parish choir (as well as the members of the parish) sing at this service. There are thematic masses (Bluegrass, Celtic, and Jazz), and we have guest singers and musicians throughout the year.

12:00 noon

This service of Holy Communion with Sermon is in Spanish, with music offered with guitar accompaniment.

Our Music Ministry
Parish Choir
The Parish Choir is a vital part of the congregation and provides inspiring musical leadership in services of worship throughout the year. This talented group of musicians performs a repertoire from classical to contemporary.
The Parish Choir presents major choral works on All Saints Sunday, Christmas Eve, and in the Spring.

Coro de Parroquia
The noon Mass is enriched by the ministry of the Coro de Parroquia, which provides musical leadership in the liturgy each week. The coro combines with the English Choir in seasonal services of worship and festive bilingual services.

Concerts by Candlelight
Each concert is free of charge and is followed by a Champagne Reception in the Parish Hall.
