It is our abiding conviction that the Lord called us together as a church family to be changed by the Holy Spirit in wonderful new ways. This is our mission: "To know God, and make God known, through lives transformed by Christ."
The Music Ministry of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church strives to further the mission of the church, which is "To know God and make God known through lives transformed by Christ," by providing for the study and presentation of music which reflects and glorifies God, and leads our people into worship.
The Chancel Choir, an adult choir of sixty-plus voices, provides weekly music for the traditional service.
Our Contemporary Service is lead by a worship band consisting of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, and flute. Regularly saxophone and a brass ensemble join the band.
We are blessed to have a beautiful new Allen Renaissance 460 organ. This instrument not only offers a wide variety of sounds and colors, but also offers the latest technology to replicate the strength of true pipes.
Our children choirs also enjoy regular singing opportunities in our worship. Andy's Angels (Preschool through 1st grade), and Desert Doves (grades 2nd through 5th) are led by Claudia Jensen, who continues to be recognized in Tucson and throughout the state as one of the finest directors of children’s choirs.
Our music ministry also includes a fine adult handbell choir, the Wittman Ringers.
Written and audio versions of sermons are available through our web site.
