Our Services
Two Sunday morning services follow the same order, but differ in music and style. The Word is read and preached, prayers are prayed, hymns and songs keep us all singing, and the Lord’s Supper is celebrated monthly.
At 8:00 am, join us in the intimacy of the Trinity Chapel, where organ and piano are often
accompanied by flute, and occasional soloists or handbells enliven our worship. Located at the University Avenue entrance, the chapel looks out on our shady and peaceful courtyard.
At 10:30 am, join a larger congregational gathering in the Sanctuary, where the Trinity Choir
helps to lead worship each week from fall to spring, the Trinity Ringers play monthly, and vocal soloists provide special music through the summer months. Enter off the main parking lot east of the building, to find your way to our welcome center and sanctuary.
Trinity has a long tradition of music excellence. Instruments and voices, congregation and choirs all join together in praise, as the music serves the worship of the triune God. On any given Sunday morning, you may hear:
•traditional hymns and psalms accompanied on the organ
• contemporary spiritual songs, led by the piano
• additional accompaniment from flute, guitar, drum, timpani, •tambourine or other instruments
•the 25-voice Trinity Choir who sing weekly at the 10:30 service
•the handbell and chime choir, the Trinity Ringers, who play monthly at both services
•the occasional music of Mustard Seed, our upbeat bluegrass ensemble
•vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles who provide special •music through the summer and on other occasions
•the annual Christmas and Easter cantatas, sung with orchestral
accompaniment
•brass for Easter, bagpipes at All Saints…
… and whatever else helps us to give God joyful praise!
We’re glad you’ve found us on line, and hope to meet you soon in person.
