Born out of sacrifice and love for the Lord Jesus, Cottage Hill Baptist Church started with 28 faithful believers who met each Sunday under a tent in 1944. As the times changed, Mobile changed – and so did CHBC! From a tent in the 40’s to a 3,000-seat sanctuary in the late 80’s, God has always been doing a “new thing” at Cottage Hill.

Our Adult Choir and Orchestra lead worship each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Every Christian is called to offer worship to our Savior Jesus Christ! The students of Cottage Hill are answering that call and command with a dynamic and powerful expression! The student music ministry represents the passionate hearts of over 200 committed students! Using the gift of music and worship, our ministry platform includes dramatic musical productions, music mission trips, and small groups, not to mention the power packed rehearsals and fellowship times.

We have Kidz Praize Choirs for 3-year-olds through 5th Graders. Twice a year, at Christmas and spring, our older children, 1st through 5th Grade present a musical or concert that lifts our hearts to the throne of God! Also twice a year, our Primary Choirs, 3, 4, and 5-year-olds, combine to present a "Mini-musical" guaranteed to warm your heart and tickle your funny bone!
