First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor, Michigan, is a community of more than 2,000 Christians seeking to be alive to Christ and to the world. Founded in 1826, it is the largest Protestant church in the city.

All services of worship include music, preaching, readings of Scripture, and prayer.

Our Ministry of Music
The ministry of music is a part of the church that nurtures the spiritual life of the entire church. Its first priority is to contribute to the worship life of the congregation. At its heart, music in the church is based on relationships as much as it is on music itself: the individual's relationship to God, the group's understanding of its relationship to God, and the relationship between people. As such, it is a vehicle through which the church is able to fulfill its ministry.

The music program at First Presbyterian is alive and active, with five singing choirs, two handbell choirs, and three instrumental ensembles.
