Hope (1993)

Hope marks a time when English hit his highest and lowest points. After recieving three Dove Awards for this album, English returned them after admitting an extramarital affair with another CCM artist. "Politics and drama aside," though, says Amazon.com's Michael Lyttle, "when it comes to pure, flat-out singing, few in the CCM realm can match what English achieves on this album."
