The Mississippi Gulf Coast native, LP is spearheading a new movement to illuminate, encourage, and empower the young in spirit with a sense of purpose with his Stellar nominated, Best Hip Hop Gospel Album of the Year, debut release, “Testimony" (2006).

His single, ”We Can’t Lose” is a hit song that will be played for many years to come. The video for “We Can’t Lose”, was played on MTV, BET, THE WORD NETWORK, TBN, MUSIC CHOICE, and 18 other markets across the country, and was nominated for the Stellar Award, Best Video of The Year.

Testimony isn’t about flesh, flash and fast cars. Instead, LP explains, “I am inspired by my pastor, Michael D. Moor, and my goals and my dreams are to play an instrumental role in helping the younger people in the world spiritually & mentally.” Doing just that, LP raps of the blues and real life hardships on the emotional “What’s Going On” and finds joy and comfort in his uncontestable hot track “Keep Your Head Up”.
