Evans later moved to Reno, Nevada, becoming actively involved in the worship ministry at University Family Fellowship. Yet another move brought him back to Tulsa as the worship pastor at Open Bible Fellowship Church . It was this ministry position that resulted in Evans' recording of the Hosanna! Integrity project, Let the River Flow, in 1997. Subsequent albums include You Are I Am and Freedom in 1998.

Darrell travels alone, and with band, ministering worldwide. "In my ministry my desire is to help people connect with Jesus in a life changing way."
