P.O.D. rocks, they are the best Christian band out there. Their lyrics are really positive and they try to witness to the other bands they witness to like Korn, Kid Rock, and Dope. I just went to a concert called Icthus in Kentucky and they rocked the place!

I went to ICTHUS this year too and saw POD there. I am a baby Christian so I wasn't familiar with many Christian bands but when I saw POD, it was over for me! I am a big fan of KORN so I was excited to find a band that has the same essence, the same hard-core, headbangin' style, and the same dreamy dreadlocks, but with good lyrics! They truly showed me that you can still be the person who you are inside while loving the GREAT SPIRIT! POD ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

Hi first off I wanted to say P.O.D rocks to the fullest. The hip-hop and metal is pretty versatile. A great alternative to people who dig rage against the machine's style, but more positive lyrics. I just bought their latest album, very inspiring GOD fearing lyrics which brings me to this question regarding one of the comments about P.O.D stating that they dont play chiristian music,but the lyrics seem to reflect the total opposite.

I listen to a diverse spectrum of musical styles from rock to classical to hip-hop. I recently have been looking for Christian alternatives in rock and hip-hop, and P.O.D. is a shining example. So what they don't want to be labeled as a christian band, the message they convey whole-heartedly is of Christian ways and beliefs. I was originally skeptical about getting into the group because of their ties with secular groups, but someone has to be bold enough to go out there in the world and expose those lost ones to the truth. It's about times P.O.D. came along to combat some of the negative energy being pumped into the world by groups like Korn, Limp Bizkit, and others. Whether P.O.D. knows it or not they are deliverers of an important spiritual message. And furthermore I applaud their efforts, because they are not ashamed of the Word, even in the midst of less moral counterparts. I think we should all pray that P.O.D. doesn't fall from their standards by being in the company of their road mates.DeepBluSee - Houston, Tx.

POD, there is nothing soft about POD. There are sooooo many secular heads out there who love POD, and one of the best realizations that POD said was that you don't call the Beastie Boys a Buddhist band, why do they have to be called a Christian band, music is music.......pac

I had never heard of POD until just recently when a friend gave me a tape full of stuff like Prject 86, Chevelle, ZAO, and stuff like that. POD was on there,a nd it totally made me go crazy. The fact that Mtv plays them is even better. It's about time to get some good Christian music going mainstream.

Hey Christian music, P.O.D. is the best i think because they put so much into there music like in the video for southtown all of them put there heart in to it.I have three p.o.d. cd's and i think they are rerealsing all there older stuff. i love "The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown" the best. I just got "Snuff The Punk and i was disappointed because my expectations were high but it is still a decent cd. I also have "P.O.D. Live" and it is really good. For anyone who likes Korn or Limp Bizkit and are searching for a Christian alternative, P.O.D. should be the first band to check out. Their music RULZ and the lyrix are awesome, yet very insightful and Christ like. Payable on Death is #1 in my books, and for good reason.

i recommend P.O.D.'s music because it is awesome and because it is needed for the hardcore people like me who dont have many christian alternatives that we can listen to and would really like to have those alternatives.

P.O.D. is all about the, God Pride! Hey! Through-out all time, Christians have been hit in the face with bands like Marilyn Manson, and his satanic worshiping, and even to Blink 182's obsession with being critics. Finally there is P.O.D., to say, "Hay we're here and so is God and His love, and if you want some you gotta come and really want it." I have been through a whole lot in my life and through it all I have a group that is with me through it all and that group is P.O.D. It lifts me up and makes me rethink my life and how I'm living. Hello, I've heard P.O.D and from what I've heard I don't know if they are truly Christain. I know we are not here to judge, but somethings are obvious. I do confess that what I've heard was cool but there was other things that I didn't like. I think (my opinion) that a Christian should be a testamony and also an example. If they hang around secular groups too much they can be influences. It's easier for people of the world to influence people @ church, if you don't think so just look at the way people in church dress or even talk. If I am going to be listening to people that supposadly play "Christian music" I hope that music edifies my life, not only gets me pumped-up. I might be wrong, only God knows your heart and your intentions. Remember we are not trying to be like the world but we are trying to be separate from the world (different, holy). God bless! 5/14 P.O.D. is definately my favorite band out there. i dont know what the guy in the colum was saying when he said they weren't christian. it is obvious that they are, the word Jah, taken from Jehova...meaning God...or the trinity symbol....God, Son, Holy spirit, P.O.D. has totally changed my life and point of views on a lot of things..."you had no idea christians could be SO HARDCORE"....how true it is...it told me i could be just as hardcore as the world. but a different hardcore, a hardcore for Christ! one that tells me not to hide my faith, but to scream it to the world. Pod is inspirational I just recently heard POD for the first time and I was truly impressedby their great sound and inspiring lyrics. I believe that their presence in the 'world' is without a doubt a wonderful opportunity to bring others to the Lord. By being out there and not being labeled as anything ("not Christian music") they are being more accessible to thosewho have not yet recognized Jesus as Lord of their life. Remember: God Loves You! P.O.D. rules and I have all of the C-D's. the only one I don't have is sattelite but am getting it for CHRISTmas this year. as great as you guys are you could sell tons more non-christian c-d's but you kept faithful. I think your great for that.

I love P.O.D because when 3 of my friends Caleb, Jared, & Willie, were falling deep into sin, the music of P.O.D was uplifting to them & through listening to the guys, and of course lots of prayer they have turned there band into postive christian music! P.O.D. I think that P.O.D. is a great band. Just because they are not labeled as a "Christian band" doesn't mean they're not Christian. As for them touring with Kid Rock and Korn, well, good, the Gospel needs to get to them too. I think that if Jesus was in a metal band while on earth he would have toured with all types of bands. P.O.D. is really getting into the secular population. I think thats the whole point. Whats the point of having a good Christian band if its just going to stay in the already saved group of listeners? It's message should get out and tell people who don't know God the truth. I say if their in prayer about their band and all that the band does, then Rock On!!!!!

pod I love the song Youth of the Nation, i had no clue that p.o.d was a christian group until my brother told me. Its good to actually hear a christian song on the radio. I thought i'd write just to say how much i love the song and how the words inspire me.

Hey just wanted to say, when POD goes on stage, their goal isn't to have hundreds of kids instantly converted into Christians right there. They know this is unrealistic at the type of concerts they play at. Where POD does stand out from the rest, however, is how they stay hours after their shows at several concerts, witnessing to the fans. They dont shout "Jesus loves you all!" or annything, but rather talk to the kids that have questions about what Christianity is, and show these kids that not all Christians lead dull lives. Even if POD doesn't save hundreds of lives, they do give thousands of kids positive lyrics, a mindset that Christians can have fun, and most importantly gives several kids hope. Too many Christians overlook the "hopeless" kids, and it's time we change that. I support POD one-hundred percent, and I pray that other Christians can support POD too.

I didn't know that there was clean, Christian rock music out there! It's good to know that I can listen to music without poisoning my mind! POD definitely sets an example. They love Christ, they praise him, and they use there talents for him, these guys are GR8! God Bless Liv Z

I was browsing your website and found P.O.D. listed as a Christian rock band. I was astonished, because I had heard bits of their music but never really paid attention to what they were saying. I really liked their sound, and knew they were considered more of a heavy rock band, that's where their CD's can be found at stores. But I was a bit disappointed when reading comments on this page from people criticizing them for not being "Christian" enough. Jesus didn't go and preach to the people that already believed in Him. Look at His disciples. They were considered some of the worst type of people at their time. This band, P.O.D., whether they admit to being Christian or not, is not for anybody else to decide. But if they have a positive message about God, then they are in the perfect place. It's the people in bands like KidRock and Korn and the people that attend those concerts that need the type of message P.O.D. delivers. If they can stay strong in the Lord and carry His message to these people, then more power to them. God didn't tell us we couldn't play heavy metal music to worship Him, as long as we worship Him and keep our focus on Him. I think it's a good thing that their doing. For a while I had been listening to Blink 182, Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit and all of them. Then one day I was watching MTV2 ROCK and P.O.D.'s song 'Sleeping Awake" came on. I really liked it, and the lead singer. So after hearing it I began to calm down a little and listen to lighter music, like Chevelle and, I guess, Saliva. Hello My name is Daryn Eckert. I'm a Sra ready to put SSgt on in the USAF. I really don't know what to think of P.O.D. On one hand they are witnessing on the other hand they are subjecting themselves to sevier amounts of spiritual warfare. I know people use their music to worship God. If the fact is true that they said they don't play Christian music then that's fine. God knows there hearts and I know he is protecting them. I would recommend them to a new born Christian who is having a hard time seperating from the world. I'm not for them but I'm not against them either. If God wants to use them fine someone could get saved over all on a review in my opinion of the body of Christ I don't see the spiritual fruits there bearing at all. They have helped revolutionise the music industry for Christian metal but the main point is and agian only God knows there hearts if they go on tour and do there stuff there doing is it helping or breaking there relationship with Christ and the intamacy He has called them into when they first got saved? Hi there, I'm a Christian and I have one of Pod's C.D's, Satellite and I think they're totally a Christian band all the way. So they're on the metal side; it's better then the boring slow hym songs I like those, but Pod is a more up beat new thing I like them. They're kool and are a Christian band even though they hang with non-Christian bands. It's not wrong to hang with non-Christians. I have friends who aren't- it's not bad. Sher

POD's lyrics are much more out there than most Christian bands. They call for revolution, for Christians to rise up, even call their fans Warriors. But many larger Christian bookstores are refusing to sell their music based on their radical point of view. Many refused to sell the Fundamental Elements of Southtown a few years ago for the same reason. Now, the same is happening with their new, selftitled release. Christianity's highlights have been of radicals--Jesus was the first, and was followed by many many others. Don't let these conservative views influence you.
