 Michael is one of my favorite artists. i love the way he sings and how he sings only for God. his songs are so touching. like in his song"this is your time". it really made me think about what if i were in cassie's shoes? what would i say? it has really made me think about it. michael w. smith's music is cool. that was a good testimony when he sang at cassies fruneral he is such a good christian. his music is rocky and i like that. i might go see him sometime. he's like my parents age and he has a good taste in music. that is cool that you can be rocky and still sing about the lord, i want to do that someday and i hopr the lord give's me an opportunity to. well bye amanda

I think Michael W. Smith's 'This is Your TIme' is very encouraging. When I had heard of the shooting at Columbine, I was very frightened and I think it's great how Christians did confess their love for God even under those circumstances. 'This is Your Time' really got me thinking, if that ever happened to me, could I ever confess my love for God? This song is really encouraging and comforting since I'm going to enter high school next year, and whatever happens there, God will always be with me. This is my time to show everyone what God has done for me, and everything he has to give to them.

Just saw him this weekend in Chicago at the United Center. It was the AMy Grant Christmas Concert. I could of watched and listened to alot more of Michael though. I can't get over how beautifully he plays piano. He sure is a very tallented artist and it goes without saying, all around nice person. He touches the hearts of many with his sincerety and love for Our Lord Jesus Christ. SO refreshing! My teenage daughter went to see him with a friends and her family this summer and she really enjoyed him. Infact, for their 8th grade graduation/confirmation song her teacher let her choose the song they would play at the dinner. She chose "Pray for Me". It brought tears to many eyes. Not that we wanted tears but there would of been tears anyway due to the fact that she was the only one not going on to the same high school. She grew up with these kids and they were very close. Micheal W Smith is my favorite cause when he sings you can feel the holy spirit around you.I started to listening to him when i just got saved. I love the song Cry for love it really brings tears to my eyes and really touch's my heart. I also like the song I'll lead you home it makes me cry. Michael W. Smith is one of the most amazing people alive, I think. He is a great husband and father and his faith is so strong. His music has changed my life. I adore his new CD, esp. the song "This is Your Time", the title cut. It reminds that each moment is fleeting and fragile and that your have to cherish each second, each breathe, each person. Because this life only comes around once. Thanks to Michael for his inspiration. My life will never be the same. (I saw him in concert 2 days ago in his 1st performance of anything from the album This is Your Time. It was so incredible, esp. because Steven Curtis Chapman is touring with hime) I LOVE MWS!

I think M.W.S. is Awesome! His music brings a sense of hope and encouragement to you when you are down. It also has this "tone" to it which has rock, pop, and the word of God all in one. My fave song is "friends" I heard it in about 3rd or 4th grade in honor choir. That's when I was first introduced. In response to another persons comments, you can find it on his earlier albums try looking on-line. I think that song is SO true! I like the album "LIVE THE LIFE" I got to see Smitty in concert "sort-of" at CREATION '99!!! he did the candle lighting service! It was SOOOOOOOO COOOL!!! Sorry if I wrote too much! We love Michael W. Smith! He is such a godly man. He is a great performer and His music is an uplift to my life. I have been to 3 of His concerts now, and we are looking forward to attending many, many more.

I like the song Friends. I cry when I hear it. The first time I heard that song was in 7th grade, course class. We had to take it home and practice singing it. Well I did just that. When I was singing it my dad was standing there, he just cryed.I think that song was ment for my dad to hear. He stayed very sick all the time. Well my dad past away 5 years ago. I miss him terriably. I've looked for Michael's song Friends in stores and can not find it. If I could hear that song sang, once in a while. I beleave it would give me some peice. My fav. song from Smith is "Friends". Me and my best friend listen to that and just cry. Infact it's so special to me I dedicated it to her. I love his music. I love the fact he has fast song's and very slow song's. I seen him at the Billy Graham Crusade. It was so awsome. I loved him when he sang. It not only brought tears to my eyes but to my mom's also! Hey I just started listening to Michael W. Smith a few months ago and he is already like, my favorite artist next to Newsboys. Hew has such a great message in his songs I just get so uplifted when I listen to him.

Michael W. Smith is one of my all time FAVORITE singers. I went to one of his concerts last Oct. at Walnut Creek in Raleigh NC!! It was totally awesome!! Michael's music has truly been a blessing on my life as well as many of my family and friends!! I can't thank him enough for what he's done for me. I just saw Michael W. Smith perform in Lincoln Hew Hampshire at the INSIDE OUT SOUL FESTIVAL, he is so awesome. He is a great singer and entertainer. I loved all his music and he is very spiritual and focused. I think that all singers should be more like that. He is so inspiring and caring. I have listened to Michael W. Smith's music ever since I can remember. The first cd I ever received was his "Go West Young Man" cd. I believe that his music has more than just a collection of lyrics and instruments. It has a powerful message that touches the hearts of everybody that listens to his music, especially me. I feel like an old woman writing in on this. I have been a fan of MWS since 1988 when I was a teenager. The first time I heard "Friends" was in 1986. He is an inspiration to me and my husband. The way he honors his wife Deb and his kids, is just a powerful witness. My husband and I have 5 kids as well and we know how you can get lost in the shuffle. You can talk the talk, but when you walk the walk is when you get everyones attention. Words sound, example THUNDERS!!!! Micheal and Deb just keep livin the life.

What's important with him is that he gives God all the glory and that's really important if the massage must find a way in the public's heart. !!!wow!!! michael is suuch an inspiration in my life...i have been a HUGE fan for years now, and have seen him in concert 9 times...hoping more will come! my father introduced his music to my family years ago. my dad is a minister and even though i am a true Christian, i was never into his music. but michael caught my ears! two years ago my brother, Aron, passed away at age 21. this was the most devestating moment and time in my life. i suffer from it every day, but in the long run i believe it made me stronger. anyways, when it came to the funeral my brother, sister and i each got to pick a song to be played. we didnt even discuss it, and all the songs were by MWS. how ironic! the one i chose was "ill lead you home" the others were "breathe in me" and "straight to the heart" all off of the "ill lead you home'' album. they make me so sad yet so happy when i hear them, tears pour, but it touches me in a certain way. i love it...keep it up...and like i said...come back to dallas, tx ;o)

My best friend moved to South Carolina three days ago and I bought your c.d with the song friends on it and gave it to her .  i love what Michael W. Smith has done for his family and friends and his passion for God really makes me have a lot of respect for him. i read his book "friends are friends for ever" and that caused me to look at life a whole new way a very good way. I love listening to his music and everytime i
hear that song "friends are friends forver" it brings tears to my eyes because that is the song we would sing at our church every time someone left it because they were moving. Then when my family and i moved from Arizona
the church that my dad was a pastor for 26 years sang that song for us. i have been to one of Micheal W. Smiths concerts (that was this year) it made me want open up and share Gods love with others at my high school. keep your

 Michael W. Smith WOW! is all that needs to be said, his music makes me feel good about myself, and where i am with my relationship with the father. I'm seventeen and i've found out what i'm gonna do with my life. I'm going to be a song writer, and co-own a record lable. When i listen to Michael W. Smith i get an enormous amount of insparation thrown my way and i just want to write, and i've just finished my first official song, and i love it. I hope that Michael W. Smith will be coming around the toronto, Hamilton area in Canada soon, i'd really like to see him, i haven't seen him the Billy Gram crusade in toronto about 6 or 7 years ago.

 Michael W. Smith is such a great singer and performer. He has touched the lives of many individuals. His song, "Friends" makes me cry every time I listen to it. I sang it and dedicated it to a family that moved away that was very good friends with my family and I had such a hard time singing b/c the words in that song are just so perfect and he is just such a wonderful man. I have just about every CD of Michael's and I enjoy them all. I haven't been to a concert yet but that is my dream. also to meet him! My all time favorite CD of Michael's is, "This is your Time." Micheal W. Smith is an inspiration leader. Not only does he have a good voice, but has the ability to change lives. Today, if you look around you everything is so worldly. Rap music, peer pressure, pre- matarital sex, drugs, drinking, etc. He speaks the truth through his voice. This man has a love in his heart, and that love is God. Which he his not afraid to show it. I first heard of Michael W. Smith from a good friend of mine. I used to listen to a bunch of worldly music that had nothing to do with God or Christ, but then I went to camp one about a year or two ago & heard his song "This is your time". After I heard it I was like Wow! This guy is awesome! Ever since then his music has changed my life. I had this feeling like God was trying get something across to me. The only station I listen to now is the Christian radio station & every time I hear one of his songs I get all excited because his music is so awesome! Michael's music has been a huge inspiration to me over the years. I am a family man like Michael, and have been listening to his music for over 13 years now. Being a former pro surfer, and on the road rock band lead singer,Michaels style, and music captured my heart, and helped mold my praise & worship style in church in the last few 10 years. God is using him in an awesome way, and his love for the lord is on the right track touching people all over the world.
