Hi!
My name is Renee and I"m 14 years old. I heard Mary Mary's singe
"Shackles"(Praise You) on rage one morning.
And since then I really liked there music. But it wasn't until I saw there album in a Christian music and gifts shop that my Mum and I go to regularly well, mum goes there alot to find books and things and tapes of Preachers.

One morning I went there just to keep myself occupied and to get away from home for a while. Mum was looking for books and I was just looking around at the music that they had and saw "Mary Mary" up on the shelf. I put it in the disc player to see if it was the cd I thought it was and it was. I listened to other songs on the cd and liked them very much.
So, i told Mum I would like this cd and she got it for me.

The next morning I got up happy and made waffles for myself and I didn't want to share them with my brother because I wanted to eat them all. But then I sat down to eat them and turned the cs player on the listen to "Mary
Mary" and straight away felt like sharing them with my brother Damien. I shared over half of them with him and gave myself about three while he had 6. I just want to say that they make me better inside.

Wuz up? Well I was just writing to express my feelings toward the group Mary Mary. Personally I think that ya'll have a very special talent. I think that you are not just two girls singing trying to get attention, nut I believe that you were assigned to this and that you both have singing talent from GOD! My favorite song is I Can't Give Up Now, because truly I have come to far to turn around now.

 I think Mary Mary have a wonderful talent in how they use there voices. I got married a month ago and we used Shackles (which is my favorite song) to walk out of the church. Why we used it was because it was saying that we are know free and clean. I think they are better than all the non christian music that I've heard and that base there music around sex and drugs and Mary Mary are down to earth and easy listening music which I love.

 Hey there,
I am just wondering whether there is any way I can contact "Mary Mary" or make myself heard.

It is regarding of a really favourite music of mine "shackles(praise You)". I just feel that it is a really beautiful and touching music and helped me alot when I am feeling that things have gone so wrong. Just praising God,
and learning to do that is a powerful message.

So, my distress is about the fact that recently a religious section group in "Sydney lesbians and gays mardi gras" used that particular music in their theme song in the parade. I feel so sad hearing about that, hearing the music being aired over in the audience. I am not so worked up or against gays or homosexuals, I just feel sad about them. And for me that they used the music is missing the whole message of the song and they are very much in 'shackles'.

So, I was actually thinking about getting the song as a birthday present for someone. But, since that happened.. I am so confused...it prompted me to search the web for information on the group Mary Mary and find out what they stand for. At least, from their bios, I found that theyare a group that loves God and sharing God's message and Christ through music. And I feel that it would be so much so much better for the songs if they include the name Jesus and not just God.

One of my goals in life is to produce a record. I'm trusting in the Lord that he will open up some doors for me just like he has done for them.They are not singing for just a name, you can tell that they care about the people that are not save and are trying to give some enmcouragement for thethe peolpe on the outside looking in. Everyone is not back in the days.... there are young people out there that only listen to certain type of music.There are some people that think that living saved consist of old traditional music. And these women have reached beyond those barriers.I know that if I can run into people like these two anoited women that I can reach out to many people with my voice as well.

I can admit they're truly talented and love their singing voices which is great. They're 2 great female singers that have lots of talent, I mean they have great voices ans the song "Shackles" (praise you) is one of the best songs that I have ever heard in my life. MaryMary is my favirite gospel singers.

Oh my God.What can i say about MaryMary.They've bless my soul in their music.One day i was jus sittin down listenin to the radio then all of a sudden Shackles(Praise you)came on.I blasted the radio got up and started dancin.I mean the beat the lyrics it jus blessed me.So i jus had to get the cd.When i got it everyday i couldnt stop listenin to it.My top songs on the cd are Shackles(Praise you),Can't give up now,Good to me (featuring Destiny's Child),One Minute**,Still my child,and Wade in tha water***.And that same year in my dance school,I was so happy becas when i learned we were dancin to MaryMary's two songs which are Shackles and Thankful which is also my favorite song i was so happy.This is to those who don't have the cd you got to get it cas you do not know what your missin.Oh yeah and i love the song I sing too.To MaryMary:I hope God brings you more success in your career becas i know you guys are strong and will be blessed. I have praised through shackles, I have beeen blessed by Incredible and witnessed through 1 minute. Hi, My name is Sasha and I am 13 years old. I get upset alot because I am a Christian and as soon as you let the world know that, the non believers start to look at you and nitpick at all the little things you do , just looking for something to say about Christians. And alot of times I get discouraged because I look at singers who start off singing for Christ and then turn around the second that they start to get known in the secular world, they let go of God and stop using thier talent for Him. Or they still sing for a Christian label but appeare in un-godly films or sing un-godly songs or even wear really un-godly clothing. And at that point all the un-believers start to say" O, you see those so- called- Christians. Thier all a bunch of hypocrits.Why should we be like them and follow this God if they don't even follow Him for more then 2 minutes?" I get really discouraged when I hear that and I start to think that if they are not going to follow God then they shouldn't say that they are Christians at all cause then they soil the good name of Christians- and most of all the good ,holy, name of God.But I am truley happy and get brought back to my senses of that it is not all Christian singers that do that when I think about MaryMary. They have really kept true to God and have always given thier praise to God. I have to say that I am truley proud of them because,yes, everybody makes mistakes but they have done really good in spreading God's name to the secular world by hooking the unbelievers in with thier awesome beat and great rythmn, but still keeping a close enough distance that the secular world doesn't hook them back to thier old, sinful ways. I wish that thier were more Christian musicians like these lovely young spiritual ladies from MaryMary. I just wanted to let everyone who has ever felt the same way as I do many times about Christian artist to know not to be discouraged because God does prevail and we see that when we look at MaryMary. And just pray for those other artists that have back slid to come back to the Lord. And we know this prayer will be answered-Just look at MaryMary and all those other TRUE Christian bands and musicians.Thank you MarMary for restoring my hope alot of times and keep on doing what your doing.God Bless all who read this and even the ones who don't.
