i really do like the katinas. they are a good group. but it is not their sound that inspired me its not their looks either it is that when i went to the concert in pueblo colorado to see them live i really felt the holy ghost flowing pouring out its love and grace to the audience. the katinas are really good at what they do. but we need to start giving some of the credit to our lord for giving them the gift of singing and encouragement cause not many people are blessed like that. so for all of us i am going to say (thank you lord) always crystal

I grew up with them when they lived in Oceanside California. I was surprised to see that they became Christians. I lived directly across the street from them. I remember many time when they would have everyone over for cooked pork that they had been cooking for hours in the ground. I have attempted to contact them. I cant say they have inspired me in my walk with the Lord, but this is a great encouragement to see that some of my past playmates are now advancing in the Kingdom! God Bless you David and Joe. I have prayed for you often, even when I didn't know your whereabouts! Thanks,Christopher DeSmit

I've grown up listening to the Katinas mainly because they were mentored by my grandma when their Mom died, so I was always around them. So they have always been like uncles to me. But they are such an inspiration in my life and in the life of others. I hope that God continues to use them. There music is sooooo good and I think its better than most secular music, so I hope and pray that more people will accidentally stumble across their web sites or music and God will use that to touch them. In Christ Jesus our Lord, Missy, Tacoma WA HisVoice7@aol.com

I think that the Katinas should have more things on the internet because they were so nice for answering me back when I sent them an email i think they have great courage for doing what they do and what they will continue to do Im so proud of them and Im trying to go see them perform.

The Katinas are an awesome group. I saw them in Knoxville Tennessee at Winterfest. I would like to see them again. I had been looking for a web page but couldn't find one until now. This is the best website.

Hi I just love The Katinas There music inspires. Good to see young men, singing God's love. Is there any where I can find soundtracks for their music. Ed

I think that the Katinas are awesom. I heard them for the first time at Knoxville Tennessee at Winterfest. There music really ministered to me. I love their music.

I recently went to the millenium youth celebration held at Broadmore Church of God in Tennessee. I enjoyed the party! They rocked God's house. I pray they will continue to stay in God's will. I know He has given them opportunity to carry his word with them wherever they may go. Great work Katinas! Hope to see you again soon! We love and will be praying for all of you! God Bless Y'all! I absolutely love the Katinas. the are one of my favorite groups. they will be doing a concert at my church march 10th. they have a POWERFUL calling upon their life to sing. when my parents were having some problems, I listened to "one more time" and it really helped me to get through the tough time that I was going through. I thank God for putting them here to bless and inspire. In Christ, heavensangel70@hotmail.com

Hello there! I thought I would put in a thought or two about the Katinas. The Katinas were the first group I heard on tape. I grew up listening to their music, and have not missed an album. God has used them to inspire my life in such a way that no else, but He, can understand. I know of some "behind the scene stories" that have strengthened them to come this far in faith, love, and humility which resulted in their well deserved success God has granted them today. As a result, I too have been able to see defferent views on various circumstances reminding me to be continuously faithful and humble. Though the Katinas are not my idols, they are a GREAT inspirartion both individually and as a group. I thank God for them everyday. Honestly. I am helping a fellow Katina fan by updating their page. If you would like, I would be more than willing to post some replies you have revceived on the page. Thank you for your time! God Bless In His Blessings, Zoeluva

Hello, I don't know if I'm in your normal age group. I'm 39 with a 14 and 16 year old and I started hearing the Katinas on a Christian radio station. "One More Time " immediately drew me in. Every time I feel blue I play that song and remember that God is watching out for me and my family and everything WILL indeed be alright. This group needs LOTS more attention. As a mother of teenagers I can tell you that their music is Right On. Please advertise more and get there music out there. We ALL need it. Miriam Hees Austin, Texas miriamhees@yahoo.com

I've seen the Katina's so many times! They are so awesome! They have the greatest worship songs and lyrics. They always remind me of how lucky I am to know Christ and to have him in my life! It's something I should always keep on mind!

The Katinas are so cool. I just can't get enough of their song "You Are God"! It rocks! They are a really talented group. I remember the first 2 times I saw them. It was before they were big like they are now. They performed shows about a year apart at the Saturday Night at the Rivers at James River Assembly (WWW.JamesRiver.org). It was around the fall of '97 that they played the last time, if I remember right. They were totally real in their Christianity, and did very well at performing. Everybody loved them. The Katinas have been around for a long time and I don't think they'll be leaving any time soon!

I was looking for information about the Katinas on the internet, and i came across your site. I don't know a whole lot about them, in fact you're the only person I know that's even heard of them. It's good to know other people are hearing this group. A few weeks ago I was going through a lot of struggles in my life, in fact I still am. But one night I was listening to the radio and heard their song, "one more time", and it just spoke to me. It was just what I needed to hear with what was going on in my life. It was a real inspiration to me, and now whenever things get troublesome I sing that song to myself, and it just gives me a peace, that only God can give. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I hope your website goes well, and i'll be checking back to see if you have anything new in it. If you would like to write back, I would love to hear from you, but if not I hope everything goes well, and I hope you'll be blessed by this song as much as I have. your friend in Christ, matthew ===== Mark 11:24

I went to Sumiton Church of God at the Harvest Crusade. The Katinas were there and they were so awesome. They really ministered to me.They're songs were also awesome. They give the best concerts.

I love the group called the Katinas. They have an amazing blend, and powerful lyrics. Their music is also wonderful to worship to. I can really see God working through them. Because of Jesus, Angela
Hi there everyone, just a note from down under. I'm writing from "New Zealand", for all those who don't know where "New Zealand" is it's the country next to "Australia" where the 2000 Olympics are being held. Well just want to let everyone know that my family and I have been greatly blessed with the music ministry of the Katinas and the way in which their songs seem to relate to things in life. God willing it would be great to see them downunder in New Zealand some day. I know that they have quite a big following amongst the large Samoan christian community here in NZ. Anyway praise God for their ministry and god bless to everyone out there.
Yours in Christ,
Geoff. A. M.
I agree with all of the positive comments about The Katinas..they have really helped me through some deep, dark valleys in my life recently. Their songs that inspired me the most are "you are God" and "There you are". One
person mentioned that they had e-mailed the Katinas and got a response. Could I find out that e-mail address? I would like to encourage them to continue ministering and to let God lead them always. Thanks for this web
site. God Bless!

The one thing that I love most about the Katinas is the passion for God in their hearts. The first time I saw the Katinas was at the DC/LA conferance. I fell in love with their music the first time I heard it. I could just see the joy and happiness of the Lord in their eyes. Their songs are so beatifully written that you can tell that they are on fire for God. I also think that it is really awesome to see men these days to take a stand for Jesus, and the way the Katinas minister through their
songs, God is going to bless them. They have great talent and great hearts. I love you guys very much as brothers through Christ. Keep up the good work, and remember to always keep God first in your lives. God
Bless you all. <>< Danielle ><> Tampa, FL

I just saw the Katinas (minus Sam) at the Tennessee Valley Fair in Knoxville on September 14,2002. They were wonderful,I can see how they have grown since the first time I saw them. They have an exciting stage presentation and the love of Jesus is on each face. The love and sincerity is what draws me to them. People can see just how sincere and committed the Katinas are and that draws young and old alike. I really like the energy they put into their shows and they have a lot of new moves. It had been about two years since I had seen them in concert. When Jessie jumped off the stage at the 9:00pm show, I was really suprised to see him standing rignt in front of ME!!!!

Hi, my name is joann and i live in england.i recently visited america and was really blessed to see the katinas in concert while i was there.their music has ministered to me so much and it is such a blessing that these brothers show the love of God in their lives and music.they were so nice to me and my son when we met them after. we need to lift them up in prayer for Gods strength and favour.may God continue his will in them as individuals and as a group. much love in Jesus name, Joann.

I'm not sure I fit the mold of youth who enjoy to Katina's. I am 43 years old and I love 'em. I have seem them 4 times in the past 15 months, Aug. 2002 at Rock the Valley in Fresno, CA; then at the Billy Graham event in Oct 2002 here in Fresno, CA. I then saw them last Christmas, Dec 2002 at Cathedral of Faith in San Jose, CA. And, lastly, was last weekend in Sacramento, CA at Trinity Life Center. There are awesome all the time. I first heard their music on KLOVE radio, it was the song One More Time. I knew they sounded good together and wondered who they were. Then I found out they were Samoan, and I just love islanders. Then started my mission to find out who they were. They have ministered to me over and over again and their Lifestyle tour is awesome. Those are some Godly men with only one purpose, to serve God and minister to those around them. They are very humble young men. I am blessed everytime I see them. I finally decided maybe I should tell them like I'm one of their "old" groupies. They kind of laughed and asked if I was bored yet. I think I could see them over and over and never become bored. It was nice to talk with them a little and get their autographs. They are very friendly. I would recommend that anyone who get the opportunity to see them, not refuse that option.

In Christ I am, Cary

I got to see the Katina's in concert in Homewood, IL this Saturday (Nov. 9, 2002). They had their families with them, and it was so fun to have them bring their kids up to show them off. As the concert proceeded, we laughed as we noticed that each kid was imitating their fathers moves (even the drummer's son was playing "air drums"), so you could see that they had been in quite a few rehearsals :o). The brothers work well together, and they handle the stress of the work they do well. I was really blessed by their work, and by their warmth. Hope that we see more and more of them as time goes by, and if you could forward this to them, that would be the best way I could return the blessing to them :o).

I absolutely love the Katinas. I have never seen them in person but I believe it would be an awesome experience. I just recently learned of them through our local christian radio station. The only cd I have is Lifestyle, in fact, I just listened to it. I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit when I hear their music and you can tell that the anointing is upon them. If you know of any way I can contact them, through a fan club or whatever, please let me know. I think they are awesome!!!!!!!!
I would like to send and email to the Katinas, to let them know they are the greatest. I heard them in concert at Faith Assembly on Goldenrod, Orlando, FL. Their songs are the best form of praying. I thank our Lord Jesus for The Katinas. The Lord has truly blessed us with The Katinas. Marie Blackford

God's Beloved! They are anointed in the Spirit and have inspired me to study and renew my walk with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Their music has touched me and helped to heal my heart. The first concert I saw them at Jesse came out and sat in the audience with me. We talked about families and loving God above all things... And worshiping Him through His Son our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Every time they are in the Dallas area I will be at their concert.

I saw The Katinas for the first time in Dec 2003 in Lexington Ky. I am sorry to say that I had never listened to them before, or even Christian music. My Dad is Samoan and told me a Samoan group was performing in Lexington. I got a tape of their's and was instantly touched and moved by their music. I have never been to Samoa and have plans of going in June of 2004 with my Dad. God works in mysterious ways... to have found their voices at this time of life while planning this trip to Samoa has made this whole experience really come into perspective for me. I was excited about this trip before I heard The Katinas, but now that I listen to them everyday... songs like My Samoa... this trip with my Dad is going to make me whole. Listening to them has made me long to be a better person. I feel so blessed that their music has found me, and that I have come to be closer to God every day.
I want to thank the Lord for giving the Katinas their gift's of music they have inspired my to live for God more faithfully. I have yet to see them in person but, I do not need to see them to know that they are full of the Holy Spirit. All their songs are my favorit they all minister to my heart. I pray that God will continue to use them and increase their gifting to reach the world for the Kingdom Of God way to go my brothers, in HIS Love........... Marty Chicago IIL. >>
